Father’s Day and the Summer Solstice
When I woke up this morning, I was thinking this is a rare occurrence to have Father’s Day and the Summer Solstice to fall on the same day, but actually it isn’t. In doing a bit of research, I found they have shared the day more often than I thought.

Father’s Day and the summer solstice share the same date every 5 to 6 years. The next overlap of Father’s Day and the summer solstice will be on Sunday, June 20th, 2032, as Father’s Day always occurs on the third Sunday of June, usually between the 15th and the 21st, while the summer solstice occurs whenever the Earth’s North Pole reaches its maximum tilt toward the Sun, which typically lands on June 20 or June 21.
While we celebrate our Fathers today, I hope you also remember to celebrate yourself and your life on this longest day of the year. Think about:
What are you grateful for and why?
How do you show your gratitude?
What changes would you like to see in the coming year?
Do you have a plan to make those ideas come to life? If not, get started and make this coming year your best ever!
