Connecting You to Support: Dementia rehabilitation. Ideas from lived experience, policy, practice and research

An AHP Dementia Webinar

As an allied health professional (AHP) dementia community we have developed a National AHP Dementia Webinar series where we share practice, connect people, to support.

In our AHP Dementia webinar in June 2026, people joined this interactive session to learn about dementia rehabilitation in Scotland. Hear from the perspectives of lived experience, from policy, from practice, as well as research. Our guest presenters were

Rynagh Flynn, Scottish Demetia Working Group, Active Voice, Alzheimer Scotland

Ian Tomney, National Dementia Carers Action Network, Active Voice, Alzheimer Scotland

Fiona MacLean, Professor, Edinburgh Napier University

Laura Bolton, Music Therapist, Nazareth Care

You can WATCH AGAIN; the webinar link is here

You can view all our AHP Dementia webinars here

  • What did you like?
  • Even better if?
  • What are you planning or have already done next with what you heard?

We would love to hear from you and feeding back provides a positive contribution to transforming the support available in Scotland available to people living with dementia.
