Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late: Warning About Tardive Dyskinesia and How to Take Action

Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) is a serious, often permanent movement disorder caused by certain medications. I’ve been living with TD for over two years, and I know firsthand how devastating it can be — not just the involuntary movements, but the pain, embarrassment, and emotional toll it takes on your life.

That’s why I created a petition to educate medical professionals and the public about TD. My goal is to make it mandatory for doctors and medical students to recognize the early signs of TD and explain them to patients before prescribing medications that can cause it. Early detection is key — catching TD early gives patients a better chance of recovery.

Important: Never adjust or stop your medications without consulting your doctor. Tapering too quickly can make TD permanent. Educate yourself, be an advocate for your own health, and help others by spreading awareness.

Your support matters. Sign the petition, share it, and ask your friends, coworkers, family, and doctors to sign too. Together, we can prevent needless suffering and hold Big Pharma and the medical field accountable.
