Trataka is a meditative practice that helps develop a calm and steady focus. It calms the nervous system, inviting relaxation and mental clarity.

Candle Gazing can help calm anxiety and improve the quality of sleep for those struggling with insomnia.

It’s also good for eye health and memory.

Getting ready to practice:

Place a lit candle in front of you, with the flame at eye level.

Sit with your back comfortably straight, shoulders down and relaxed. Open your chest by rolling your shoulders back a little and start taking slow steady breaths as your eyes settle on the flame.
