My wife, Theresa, was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease in November of 2018 at the age of 49. There is no known history of Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia within her family. Prior to losing her job, Theresa worked for nearly 20 years as an Accounting Professional. Alzheimer’s robbed my wife of her career, self-confidence, independence and has deeply impacted the lives of all of us that love her so much. Prior to her diagnosis, the family and I spent several years in bewilderment to the changes that were taking place in Theresa. Theresa passed away from this disease on March 3rd, 2024 at the age of 55. It is and has been my passion to tell her story. This channel will remain up in remembrance of her and to educate others about Alzheimer’s Disease.
